In the weeks leading up to the event in October, we will be introducing a handful of speakers at a time right here on this blog. Jeff LongJeff Long, “Creating Online Courses with WordPress”. Jeff Long has had the opportunity to serve entrepreneurs, companies, and organizations around the world since 2003 by creating engaging online courses, building flexible WordPress websites and producing compelling videos. He’s been using WordPress since 2008 and loves the flexibility that it offers. His company specializes in creating online course systems, and video-based online learning. He’s the host of The Online Course Coach Podcast, which is THE podcast for the latest in online course creation tips, news, interviews. Sherryl WilsonSherryl Wilson, “Pinterest Rich Pins and Other Platform Image Sizes”. Sherryl has been using WordPress since 2010 and has a background in Accounting before venturing into the world of blogging and website creation. Currently, I manage several sites, work as a social media manager, brand ambassador, travel writer, and motivational speaker. As the mom to seven children and a homeschooling advocate, she is real comfortable with the chaos of multitasking. Sherryl blogs at Simply Sherryl where she encourages others that are “Seeking the Simple in the Chaos” of motherhood to stay true to the Word and to rest in the hands of God and at The Homeschool Village where she encourages both the new and veteran homeschooler to keep pressing on.

Scott VolpenheinScott Volpenhein, “SEO in WordPress”. Scott Volpenhein is a digital advertising and SEO analyst for US Digital Partners. Scott has experience improving SEO for many clients in the Cincinnati area. He also manages PPC campaigns through search and social media platforms for a variety of businesses. Scott is a native of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Ohio University. Outside of the office, Scott enjoys starting home renovation projects (finishing some), sports and traveling.

Daniel J. LewisDaniel J. Lewis, “How to Podcast with WordPress”. As an award-winning podcaster, Daniel J. In 2015, she started the Cincinnati Blogging Meetup group for local blogging enthusiasts. She earned a master’s degree at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism at Miami University. She’s worked as a newspaper reporter, magazine editor, PR professional, copywriter, and tech startup leader. Susan is the mother of two kids (7 and 10). She and her husband live in West Chester, Ohio, with their children and one very cute, often mischievous German Shepherd/Husky dog. She’s passionate about Montessori and early childhood education, social justice, improving resources and support for working families, and diversity as a key driver of both profits and peace.

Logan KippLogan Kipp, “WordPress Security: Plugins & Beyond!”. Logan has been an intermittent WordPress user since “Strayhorn” 1.5 in 2005 and has used WordPress as a primary platform since “Coltrane” 2.7 in 2008.
